TEIC’s parent company CRRC Times Electric have unveiled the Fuxing CR400AF-G high-speed EMU. This train is is equipped with electric network control and traction systems, it can operate normally under -40℃ alpine conditions and has the ability to resist wind, sand, rain, snow, fog, ultraviolet and other adverse weather conditions.
Based on the 350 km/h platform of Fuxing EMU, its electrical system development is optimised to adapt to a low temperature environment. It systematically analyses its components, including traction, network, charger and the external power box to meet the operational requirements of a -40℃ start-up without a heat tracing device.
Congratulations to all at CRRC Times Electric for this innovative and successful addition to your range.
